Quality Images for Use Alone or to Accompany Articles

There's no argument that judicious use of a picture or two can make a good piece of writing better. Photos and illustrations attract attention and draw readers into the text. Consider this short passage. We're willing to bet it's not the headline above but the dramatic photos that caught your interest. Read on to learn more about these shots.
As a professional journalist and avid photographer, Pam is rarely without her camera. That was the case the day that happy circumstance provided the conditions that resulted in the image to the left. This delightful photo of a typical west coast fall day was one of several pictures shot while strolling the scenic Galloping Goose trail near Victoria, B.C.

Likewise with the arresting scene at right, encountered on a breathless 290-step climb up the tower of Wittenberg's Schlosskirche. Built in 1490, this church was the site of Martin Luther's revolutionary repudiation of the Catholic Church and subsequent birthplace of the Protestant Reformation.
The image below of the interior of a tulip typifies another theme you will see well represented here. Like many photographers, Pam relishes the challenge of photographing plants and flowers, and of capturing the delicate and fleeting quality of this subject matter. A few of her best floral shots are included in the samples provided here.
Pam shoots hundreds of pictures at a time and keeps only the very best. She has amassed a large collection of high-quality photographs to accompany articles or to use alone. Sample photos are available. Please feel free to explore them.
